Initially we were referred to Elise as a potential dog sitter through her friend that had sitted for us prior and could no longer do it. We have a four year old German Shepherd who thinks he is only two, very playful, obedient and gets along with other dogs. We needed a dog sitter for two basic purposes: a place to leave him for a few hours during our numerous daytime trips into Mazatlan as well as extended overnights when we would be out of town for several weeks.
Elise lives in an ocean side home on the north side of Mazatlan with a large inside walled courtyard. She has adjacent access to the beach which can be utilized for dog walks if desired.
Over a five month period this past winter Elise has diligently cared for our pet in a very professional and caring manner. She quickly established a bond with our dog, as he was excited each time we dropped him off at her place.
Elise also watched other dogs at the same time she watched ours. All the animals if she had other pet sitting duties got along with one another just fine. She owns several animals herself who always seemed at ease with our pet. She is obviously an animal lover.

As “snowbirds” owning property in a foreign country can be somewhat daunting, especially when left vacant for many months at a time.
